I received my bachelor and master's degree from Bellarmine University in Education, Learning and Behavior Disabilities. I began teaching in 1993 in Jefferson County. I started teaching in Bullitt County when my family moved here in 2007. I earned my National Boards of Teaching Professionals Certification in 2011. In November 2012, I was honored by being named Kentucky Special Education Teacher of the Year. I have taught a variety of grades and levels. I am also the mom of three boys, a white Labrador and a Beagle. When I am not at school you might find me reading, watching sports or in my garden.
